Description
AFIT Style Guide The following are questions/answers relating to this solicitation: 1. Will all courses have a web-based component and an instructor-led component? Answer: Most of the course are only web-based. If a course has an instructor component it is typically being converted to a web-based format. 2. If data acquisition trips are required, would they be to Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio? Answer: Yes 3. For the courseware sample, are we able to provide samples of more than one course? Answer: Yes, no more than two 4. The RFP states that Flash 6.0 compatibility is a requirement in the SOO, and later the RFP states to use the latest version of Adobe Flash(1.5.3.4). Which requirement is correct? Answer: The latest version of Flash 5. Addendum 13. ASC/PKE-B003 ORDERING PROCEDURES (Feb 2012) Paragraph (a)(2). How available will subject matter experts be for a course placed for bid? What recourse will there be for a winning bidder if SMEs are not fully available in time to meet course deadlines? Answer: SME are assigned to the course development by their organization and are expected to be available and fully engaged. The same recourse as if any other GFI were not furnished. The vendor is not held a fault because the Government could not provide GFI. 6. CDRL 03 Data Item A005, source code, source code and SOW paragraph 1.5.2 Proprietary format and monolithic programming tools. Is Captivate or Articulate or any tool that compiles into a shockwave flash (.swf) file considered a proprietary format? The question is basically this: is the user interface required to be in html/dhtml, or can the user interface be coded into the.swf file? Answer: The Govt has no preference. The govt must be able to edit all coding 7. For the courseware sample, do you expect to see a score, or only a completion result? Do you need to see a bookmarking feature for leaving the module before completion? Answer: Completion result, Yes we need to see bookmarking 8. What limits are there for the notional demonstration sample module? Answer: The Govt will evaluate the product based on the requirements listed. The govt will not review content not suitable to be viewed on a government computer system 9. SOW 1.5.6.1 (p 36 of pdf) What is the maximum size for individual files? When combining everything into.zip files and submitting, is there a limit on number of files or total file size of the.zip for a typical class that the AFIT Blackboard LMS will accept? Answer: 2 Gig is the official limit 10. Page L-2 of 3, PART II, Sub-Factor 2 requires that the offeror prepare a "Management Plan" in response to the SOO. The Notional SOO, item 1. states the contractor will provide documentation (see deliverables) demonstrating their approach in developing web-based courseware that support the AF ISD guidance and use the ADDE [sp] process. The "Deliverables" section then states the contractor shall deliver the following "Sample" materials. Question: Should an offeror provide a Management Plan that includes their technical approach for development and delivery of these deliverables instead of "delivery of Sample materials"? Answer: YES 11. 3. The Statement of Work, pg. 4, paragraph 1.5.15 makes reference to the "AFIT Style Guide". Question: Can a copy of the AFIT Style Guide be provided as part of the RFQ? Answer: I have attached the latest style guide.
