Description
Essential Characteristics This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable businesses. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from the industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: This is not a commercial solicitation and the Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. a. Description: Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC) is interested in the identification of capable sources to provide T-Metrics support for the following AMC installations which include; Joint Base Charleston, SC, Dover AFB, DE, Fairchild AFB, WA, Grand Forks AFB, ND, Little Rock AFB, AR, MacDill AFB, FL, McConnell AFB, OK, Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst, NJ, Scott AFB, IL, and Travis AFB, CA The Telephone operator consolidated Call Center (TOCCC) currently operates with T-Metrics equipment and operations must retain unlimited access to the T-Metrics technical support during the extended hours of 8am to 10 pm ET daily, except weekends and holidays, to help with isolations problems, configuration problems and new feature/system usage. b. The requirement is anticipated to be solicited as Brand Name Only, however, we are open to receiving capability statements from vendors offering other technical support that meet the requirements outlined in the Essential Characteristics document. c. Information Requested: 1. Company Information. Name, Address, telephone number, FAX number, point of contact(s) name(s), phone number, e-mail address. 2. Capability Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the requirements similar to the requirement described above. Please include references relating to T-Metric technical support to include: A. Contract number and Contract Type B. Agency/Company supported C. Period of performance D. Original contract value E. Point of Contact (POC) with current phone/fax number F. Brief description of the effort. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 5 pages. 3. Identification of business size and whether currently designated a small business as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at www.sba.gov/size/sizetable2002.html. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210. Small Business size is $25M. 4. If your organization is a small business, please state how your organization can internally perform 50 percent of the effort (expected contract value) without subcontracting or providing products of a large business that are more than 50 percent of the contract value. 5. Identify any additional technical information needed to submit a proposal that is not currently in the Essential Characteristic document. 6. Identify Major Risks: Provide general information to identify any major risks anticipated. 7. Any special contract terms and conditions that would need to be included in a subsequent solicitation. 8. Insight as to the commerciality of this item, i.e. do you currently provide this item to any customer other than the Federal Government? 9. Any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. c.
