Description: Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for the NCIS to purchase and install additional Instrustion Detection System and Access Control System (IDS/ACS) equipment from ADT SECURITY SERVICES; 3601 EISENHOWER AVE SUITE 300, ALEXANDRIA, VA 22304-6456. The agency 冱 requirement is to purchase and install additional Instruction Detection System and Access Control System (IDS/ACS) equipment for the NCIS Office located in Building 544, Corry Station, Pensacola, FL. The system includes motion detectors, door contacts, door card readers, and other supporting equipment. ADT is the existing provider for Open Storage Secret accredited security systems in several other NCIS offices. ADT provides the infrastructure for alarms to be received at Base Dispatch. Other Contractors cannot utilize the supporting proprietary infrastructure and therefore cannot meet the security regulations. The proposed contract actions is for purchase and install additional Instrustion Detection System and Access Control System (IDS/ACS) equipment for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Please see attached statement of work for your information. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
