NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED. Question 1: Because of the cyclic nature of the PSA process, the dryers need to be oversized. Dryers integrated into compressors are designed for the average flow based on compressor sizing, and are therefore too small. Since the PSA will at times be using much greater airflows, it is necessary to use a larger dryer in order to keep from exceeding dryer capacity, however briefly. Can we quote with free-standing dryer instead of integrated dryer? Answer 1: No, it is very important to size the compressor correctly. Once you determine the quality of air, and the dew point, sizing of the compressor and dryer becomes elementary. You can undersize your compressor, and run it "hotter", which most likely would result in moisture in your air (and a compressor that wears out prematurely). This is most likely when you would need an oversize dryer system. The Kaiser system was selected particularly for its integrated dryer system, which has a liquid and oil separator.
