Description

THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small or emerging small business firms to set aside a single or multiple award contracts. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to an appropriate acquisition decision. The requirement is for preventative maintenance services for three ETO Sterilizers, Model # 8XL manufactured by 3M. This is to include labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and periodic maintenance inspections. The contractor shall include but not limited to cleaning of the equipment, review operating system software diagnostics in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, calibrating and lubricating equipment, performing remedial, non-emergent maintenance, testing and replacing faulty and worn parts and or parts likely to fail and become worn, inspection and replacement of worn or frayed electrical wiring and cables, returning the equipment back to the operating condition mode and provide documentation of services performed. The area for this contract shall be Eastern Colorado Health Care System, VA Medical Center; 1055 Clermont Street, Denver Co. 80220.The anticipated period of performance will be one basic year plus four (4) one-year pre-priced options for renewal. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contract Specialist Ronnie Jones no later than 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), August 17, 2012 Solicitation VA-259-12-R-0589 -ETO Sterilizers preventative maintenance and upgrades has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 811219 is applicable to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered has an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of $19.0 M. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
