Description: The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis for Glenair Conduits (see the attached document with the part numbers). Authorized resellers of Glenair products are encouraged to submit quotes. Additionally, please provide proof that you are an authorized reseller for Glenair products. The introduction of any other similar system by any other manufacturer for these conduits is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, performance and cost. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. The North American industry Classification System Code is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination and should include any shipping/freight costs, if applicable to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 20 August 2012, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 24 August 2012. All responsible parties may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to dora.fauntleroy@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592.
