- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://ww.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis to UltraLife, a small business, located 2000 Technology Parkway, Newark, NJ 14513 to procure a quantity of (18) eighteen, 24VDC high current power supply to DC power supply, part number RMT-8 Method of award shall be Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Request and Pricing Reports) is applicable. FOB Destination, NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA 22448 will be applicable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 17 Aug 2012, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 24 Aug 2012. Quotes may be submitted by EMAIL in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to Karen.Jenkins@navy.mil or faxed to 540-653-0592 referencing the quote # N00178-11-Q-4947 in the subject line.
