- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single award for the provision of Bag in a Box Unsweetened Liquid Coffee Concentrate. Each case shall be shelf stable for no less than 30 days and shall be freezable. The anticipated performance period will begin on October 1, 2012, and will conclude on September 30, 2013. Annual requirements include an estimated 96 cases of regular coffee and 24 cases of decaffeinated coffee. Vendor shall also provide and maintain three (3) beverage dispensers. Deliveries will be scheduled on a monthly basis. The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation by the government. Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, FOB Destination and is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be available on or about August 27, 2012, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about September 10, 2012. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All offerors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database may make a offeror ineligible for award. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts.
