Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Sole Source Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0011 to Micro Systems, Inc. (MSI) of Fort Walton Beach, FL. MSI is requested to provide Engineering Support Services, in support of the System for Naval Target Control (SNTC), which is an Over-The-Horizon (OTH) Target Control System (TCS). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". GENERAL INFORMATION: Micro Systems, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the System for Naval Target Control (SNTC), and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill the requirements specified.
