Description
Attached is the extended solicitation. Please note the minimum for the contract is changed to $10,000. *************************************************************************************** PLEASE NOTE THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 8/17/2012 AT 10:00 am. If you have already submitted a proposal please note that the contract minimum is changed to $10,000. *************************************************************************************** General The Title for this Solicitation is Retail Publishing Titles. Multiple awards may be made from this solicitation. Upon award (s) purchase orders will be issued from this solicitation. This is the first solicitation of its kind for copyrighted books/media for resale in the Library Gift Shop. This solicitation allows for unlimited access to purchase the publishers' available book/media titles and purchasing at published market costs, which will reflect all available discounts for the timing, volume and products purchased. The vendor agrees to utilize Business Enterprises' designated freight carrier or shipping account vendors shall supply a current product price list or catalog twice yearly or as often as they have new catalog pricing. The Contractor shall provide all supplies and/or perform the services described in Section C., Statement of Work (SOW) at the Library of Congress, in accordance with the requirements of this Solicitation. Pricing. Offerors must quote prices for all supplies and/or services required during the agreement period of performance and provide pricing for up to five years total. Partial pricing by an Offeror shall render the proposal non-responsive to the Library's requirements and the proposal shall not be considered for award. Unit prices quoted shall be inclusive of all the offeror's direct costs (e.g., labor, maintenance, handling and transportation costs ), other direct costs (ODC's), indirect costs, and profit. Offerors must include all costs associated with providing the services described in and required by the Solicitation. Offerors are cautioned that its price proposal may be rejected as non-responsive to the Solicitation requirements if it is materially unbalanced as to prices for the initial contract period or any option period. A price proposal is considered to be materially unbalanced when it is based on prices that are significantly less than cost for some items/work and prices that are significantly overstated for other items/work.. The Library shall not be responsible for compensating Offerors for any costs tied to Solicitation requirements but not factored into the proposed prices, either by the Offeror's intention or by mistake. Prices/Costs The Offerors shall furnish pricing information for their book titles they plan on offering the Library of Congress. The Offerors shall complete the Pricing Schedule/Pricing Table above or submit under separate cover pricing information for each line item for the base and option periods listed. Offerors warrant that the prices in this proposal do not include any allowance for any contingency to cover increased costs for which economic adjustment is provided herewith. Contract Type This is a firm fixed unit price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in accordance with FAR Part 16. Multiple awards are anticipated. The minimum for this contract is $10,000 dollars for various book titles. The maximum is not to exceed $150,000 dollars for various book titles.
