Description

Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing hemodynamic monitors for utilization by surgical team members for monitoring internal dynamics of patients during surgical procedures for the Wilkes-Barre, PA VA Medical Center located at 1111 East End Boulevard Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's capability to provide hemodynamic monitors and corresponding clinical technology platforms, trac cables, roll stands and any other pertinent equipment for system requirements. Please be advised this is not a solicitation announcement (request for bids, quotes or proposal). The purpose of this announcement is for market research purposes only. Responses to this announcement will be used by the government to make the appropriate acquisition decisions. A subsequent solicitation announcement may follow. Responses to this announcement will not be considered as an adequate response to any future announcement. Those wishing to identify their capability to provide the afore-mentioned supplies only should respond to this announcement via email to Mark.Knorr2@va.gov no later than August 21, 2012 12:00 p.m. EST. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
