Description

This is a sources sought announcement only and is not a request for proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Medical Centers for the New York Healthcare System is seeking to determine availability of sources with the capability to provide both Leasing and Supplies (Toner and Staples) for Copiers and Copy services to beneficiaries of the Veterans Medical Center in New York Healthcare System. The following statement of work is offered for information only. Services shall be performed at the contractor's location, at the three (3) VA Medical Centers (VAMC) and three (3) outlying clinics throughout the New York City area: Manhattan (630), Brooklyn (630A4), Jamaica (630A5), Brooklyn (630GC), Harlem (630GA) and Staten Island (630BZ). Provided all labor, material, and equipment necessary to operate and maintain leased copiers and services as described in this statement of work (OPTION 1) OR the second scenario of purchased machines (OPTION 2) and /or with a contract of a maintenance agreement through GSA (ADD 1). Below Section (I.) relates to (OPTION 1) and the lines identifying the type of device required and minimum volume of use and areas of location. Section (II.) relates to (OPTIONS 2) is strictly a purchase of the Copiers with a warranty. Finally Section (III) (ADD 1) is related to an on site maintenance proprosal for one plus four year options and is a add on to the purchcasing of the machines. Copiers are to be placed at various locations (Section IV) throughout the NY Harbor Healthcare System's three campuses listed below. Firms with interest and capability to respond to this requirement should develop a short narrative identifying the Options to be quoted.
