NOTE: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 17 AUG 2012 at 4:00 pm (CST). THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST TO PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REGARDING THIS NOTICE HAS CHANGED. ANY VENDORS WHO HAVE PREVIUOSLY REPSONDED ARE INSTRUCTED TO FORWARD THEIR RESPONSE TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST INDICATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation or pre-solicitation and this notice does not guarantee that a solicitation will be posted in the future. This information is being submitted for the purpose of seeking sources only. Fort Polk, LA seeks small business sources that are able to provide services and installation of equipment listed below for the Directorate of Emergency Services, Department of the Army Civilian Police, Fort Polk, Louisiana Military Installation, for base year and 3 option periods. The vehicles will be delivered to the contractor's place of business. The contractor shall complete specified tasks within three (3) business days. Item 0001 - Estimated Qty of 45. Application of striping on GSA Police vehicles. Service to provide and apply adhesive striping and decals on new GSA vehicles that arrive throughout the year in accordance with the PWS and specifications provided. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. Item 0002 - Estimated Qty of 10. Application of window tinting. Service to provide and apply window tint film on windows of selected GSA Police vehicles as determined by the DES Fleet Manager. Further to repair tinting on any Police vehicles that are involved in an accident per SOW. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. Item 0003 - Estimated Qty of 6. Installation of vehicle winches. Service for installation of WARN brand winches on new GSA vehicles that arrive throughout the year. The winches will be provided by DES. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. Item 0004 - Estimated Qty of 6. Installation of vehicle brush guards. Service to install brush guards on selected DES vehicles, as determined by the DES Fleet Manager. The brush guards will be provided by DES. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER.. Item 0005 - Estimated Qty of 6. Installation of vehicle drop in bedliners. Service to install drop-in bedliners on selected GSA vehicles, as determined by the DES Fleet Manager. The bedliners will be provided by DES. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. Item 0006 - Estimated Qty of 6. Installation of in-bed drop in tool boxes - Service to install in-bed tool boxes on selected GSA vehicles as determined by the DES Fleet Manager. The tool boxes will be provided by DES. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. Item 0007 - Estimated Qty of 10 - Re-striping of police vehicles - Service to provide and apply police striping on damaged police vehicles that are involved in an accident. THIS IS A NOT-TO-EXCEED ITEM WHICH WILL BE ORDERED ONLY AS NEEDED BY THE DES FLEET MANAGER. The option year estimated quantities will be the same. Information obtained as a result of this notice will be used in completion of market research to determine the level of interest, particularly small business interest, in providing the required equipment as designated by the Government. The following information must be submitted with each response: (1) Name, address of company, point of contact, and phone number (2) Cage Code and DUNS number. (3) Small Business, 8a, HubZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned declaration, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) (4) If service can be provided under a GSA contract, provide GSA contract number (5) Can you provide a 3 day turnaround of services??
