- MODIFICATION 1 THE RESPONSE DUE DATE IS 08/20/12 Dynetics Technical Services, Inc. (DTS) is issuing a Notice of Intent to solicit a NASA Emergency, Sole Source Procurement Request for Quote (RFQ) to Virtual Computing Environment (VCE), or an authorized reseller only, no substitutions will be acceptable. No notice of this award will be announced, without discussion.Product is needed to upgrade an existing Vblock virtual computing system in a VMware infrastructure. This effort will support the Marshall Information Technology Services (MITS) contract. This NASA project is managed at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Huntsville, AL. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) and are located in the attached files. This includes the RFQ, Equipment List, Statement of Work (SOW), DTS Terms and Conditions and Representations and Certifications, which need to be completed and returned with your offer.DTS Terms and Conditions will apply unless the offeror proposes GSA pricing or if the Terms and Conditions of the SOW govern over any conflicting DTS Terms and Conditions. Interested vendors have three (3) days from this publication date of this Synopsis/RFQ to submit their proposal to the undersigned at the Internet Address or fax number listed below. All uploaded attachments must be completed and are considered a part of the RFQ. It is the vendors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation amendments (if any). Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the Synopsis/RFQ.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this Synopsis/RFQ.
