- Questions and Answers 1. In Section D, Task One - B, can you please clarify the required amount of "initial pool of pages" for all Color Devices? This can be changed to 25,000/month 2. In Section D, Task One - D, We ask that the Gov't to agree to notify the vendor direct, or, by way of contract prime when a device is relocated or reassigned. We can notify vendor when a device is relocated. 3. In Section T, it states "Consumable supplies shall be provided by the contractor at the time of the service call". Please advise if your intention is to place a service call for a tech to come on site to specifically replace a toner cartridge, or will the end-user be responsible for installing a cartridge from the small stock-pile on site? LCHCC IRM personnel will be responsible for changing out toner cartridges. 4. In Section C, #10 states Multifunction Devices must have a duty cycle of at least 270,000 pages. Please differentiate between the mono device requirement and the color device requirement. For color devices, a duty-cycle of up to 150,000 pages is recommended. We can add 270,000 for monochrome and 150,000 for color. 5. Is there a specific quantity of devices you are requesting? I.e., as reflected in the RFI below Initially there will be 25 monochrome and 2 color and they will be phased in. 6. Will any of the devices require 11x17 size paper? If so, a small quantity is recommended based on current VA usage of 11x17 print capability. We will not be requiring this size print capability. 7. Based on the time frame for a response to these questions, Alvarez would like to formally request an extension of one week. However, any extension you can give would be appreciated. Agreed, we can extend until Friday August 24, 2012, if necessary.
