- This is a special notice of intent to extend the current contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Reasonable Source and No Other Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" to NLST Group, Inc., 115 Rail Road Avenue, Dunn, NC 28334-4931, for the installation, maintenance and repair of washers and dryers for a Three (3) month period from 1 October 2012 through 31 December 2012 with Three (3) one-month options from 1 - 31 January 2013, 1-28 February 2013, and 1-31 March 2013. This extension is necessary because a competitive follow-on contract to continue services beyond 30 September 2012 is not yet in place. At this point and time, it would be most advantageous to the Government to modify the current contract which would allow services to continue uninterrupted until a new contract is in place. This special notice of intent to extend the current contract is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A response to this notice is not required.
