- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00681-12-T-0127 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, current to DPN 20120724. The North American Classification System Code is 333293, the small business size standards are 500 employees respectively. This acquisition being conducted using full and open competition with a preference given to small businesses under the NAICS Code. Combat Camera Productions Branch, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, has a requirement for (1) NEW High Performance Coil Binding System and (1) NEW High Performance Punch System with installation. The statement of work for the requirement is included. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible business whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government based on the below listed evaluation factors: Evaluation Factors: adherence to the requirements price Delivery terms Instructions to offerors: Quotations shall be submitted in the following format Clin 0001 - (1) high performance coil binding (including accessories required to meet the minimum specs, manuals, and warranty cards) Clin 0002 - (1) high performance punch system (including accessories required to meet the minimum specs, manuals, and warranty cards) Clin 0003 “ (1) Delivery Clin 0004 “ (1) Installation/ training Bid price must include: Accessories required to meet the minimum specs in line items 0001 and 0002 Set up in user location Freight & Delivery Customer Training (including timeline for training required individuals.) Operation manuals and warranty cards Vendor Qualification Requirements Vendor must be a manufacturer or a manufacturer certified dealer of the equipment bid, and must have certified maintenance/service personnel for the equipment bid. Vendors must be certified by the manufacturer for both the sale and maintenance/service of the equipment being bid. Vendors must provide a copy of their manufacturer certification and a current letter of certification from the manufacturer verifying their level of certification and, if applicable, identifying their authorized sales territory. The quoter should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number.
