This is a special notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed- Price contract to ACS Government Systems, Inc. 2900 100th Street Suite 309, Urbandale, IA, 50322. The Government requires ACS Government Systems to provide software license and support for the Firehouse which must be compatible with the National Data Reporting System (NIFERS) where the department is required to send all emergency reports. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. An award is expected to be made to ACS Government, Inc. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government may consider all responses received during the five (5) days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
