- **BERRY ADMENDMENT WILL APPLY** //Large Tent// Key Outcome: Provide a weather proof, climate controlled, multi-purpose tent to be used collaboratively for welcoming of returning deployers, temporary warehousing of gear, briefing/training of personnel, and administrative processing of re-deploying Sailors. Site: The tent will be erected on a large parking lot composed of concrete pavers, Sembach Kaserne, Germany. Timeframe: 1-Nov-2012. Tent must be completely erected and ready for use NLT 1-Nov-2012 Period of Use: 1 year lease with two option years; must include buy-option after the 2nd year, to include a pre-established fixed purchase price with credits received from lease. 1)"Tent" - Provide an industrial, open floor plan, tent measuring at minimum ""30 feet wide X 60 feet long"" with no interior pillars and a minimum side wall height of 9 feet, allowing 100% utilization of space. " 2)"Secure" - Must be fastened to the ground, waterproof, UV resistant, mildew and fungus resistant, fire retardant fabric with rust resistant supports." 3)"Snow Load" - Must have roof with snow load and pitch able to withstand an expected load for the Southern Germany winter climate. (Minimum snow load capacity of 128 lbs per sq foot)" 4)"Strength" - Overall facility strength able to withstand the local expected rainfall, wind, and wind driven rain for the local environment. Able to maintain operations to withstand sustained winds up to 50 MPH." 5) "Heating Unit" -Provide heating capabilities to include dual zone control balanced and calibrated to maintain tempatures between 64 - 78 degrees F. (18 -26 Degrees Centigrade) Include 2 thermostat control units. - 2 submittals showing make, model, BTU's heating, fabrication time, delivery time and method of delivery. 6)"Roll-Up Doors"-Provide 2 electrically operated metal spooled roll up doors, per attached location, with minimum dimensions of 10' W x 10' H. - Minimum 6 submittals showing manufacturer, fabrication time, delivery time and method of delivery. - Provide and install 2 associated, electrically operated air curtains, 1 per roll up door of equivalent or greater width, capable of repelling 15 mph winds" 7)"Doors"- Provide 4 ea 8'-0"" x 4'-0""double doors, leaf four hinge exterior welded steel frame metal doors with spandral, sweeps and hold open features. Two-sets of doors on each 100-foot side. - Minimum 6 submittals showing manufaturer, door accessories, fabrication time, delivery time and method of delivery. - Provide and install 4 associated, electrically operated air curtains, 1 per door of equivalent or greater width, capable of repelling 15 mph winds." 8)"Ramps"- Provide internal transition ramps to all entryways with a minimum 12% slope." 9)"Lighting"- Provide and install general fluorescent lighting with the correct luminance for warehouse operations throughout the entire tent, switched at each entry. - Provide and install theater style, canned or parabolic lighting, open grid above podium area. - The switching of lights will be made up of 6 zones (5 general / 1 for briefing area) each with an AB switching component. Each switch plate will be perminantly labled with each zone and switch leg." 10)"Electrical/Power"- Installation of 2 quad electrical outlets distributing- 230v 1 phase and 400v 3 phase, 50Hz located near each entrance on interior walls. - Locate one exterior weather-proof quad outlet at each corner of the building Each outlet will be perminantly labled with associated panel and breaker." 11)"Flooring"- Provide rigid, durable flooring, capable of leveling and being raised. - Floor strength must be capable of withstanding a maximum load capacity of a 4K diesel forklift (weight approx 8,000 lbs on four wheels) without damaging the floor structure." 11A)OPTION: Alternate conrete flooring option would be acceptable granted cost variaince was not excessive (much more durable and easily demolished at the end of the cycle). 12)"Wall Composition"- Install 10' gypboard interior wall at rear of tent located 10 feet from exterior wall. - Provide one 8'0""x4'0"" welded metal frame with metal door, location TBD. " 12A)OPTION A: Provide and install insulation throughout tent structure, minimum R-value of R-19 for walls, R-30 for ceiling/roof. 12B)OPTION B: Provide solid side-walls. "Set-up/Installation:"Vendor will be responsible for transportation, delivery, curbside unloading, complete tent and flooring assembly, installation of the ECUs, electrical, and fuel systems. Vendor will be responsible to remove scrape, cardboard, and trash removal. Do not include disassembly into the estimate. Disassembly and the cost of disassembly will be addressed at the termination of the lease. Personnel: Vendor will provide all labor necessary to completely install the tent and all components. Maintenance: Vendor will provide preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the life of the lease. Maintain a 24 hrs/day, 7days/wk emergency contact number able to respond within 2 hours for corrective maintenance in the case of catastrophic loss of power, heat, or tent integrity. //Small Tent// Key Outcome: Provide a weather proof, heated tent to be utilized as a supply storage area/workspace for palatizing equipment to be stored. Require ability for 6k forklift vehicle(s) to manuever throughout the tent on a suppotive surface.
