- Modification 0001 - Change the item description on the drawings/sketches and extend the date for receipt of quotes. The solicitation drawings/sketches contain errors. Remove all reference to T-8 fixtures and replace the existing fixtures with equivalent LED fixtures as identified in teh specifications. EXTEND DATE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTES TO READ 3:00pm(local time)SEPTEMBER 5, 2012 The USDA Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest has a requirement to retrofit the lighting in the Sheffield Compound of the Bradford Ranger District Office. Description of Work - Work consists of retrofitting existing light fixtures. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, services, supplies and other incidentals to perform work as outlined in the specifications. Work includes replacement of designated existing light fixtures, minor rewiring and switch installation, and installation of occupancy sensor switches. Project Location - The work will be performed with the Sheffield compound is located approximately one-mile east of Sheffield, PA on State Route 6.. Price Range - The Government's estimate is: between $25,000 and $100,000 the NAICS is 238210 the Small business size is $14.0 Million. Pre-bid Tour - There is not scheduled pre-bid meeting. Interested parties may contact Jim Duckett (814) 728-6257 to arrange to visit the site. Period of Performance - Work shall be completed within 360 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Period of Performance includes ordering and delivery of materials. All solicitation materials will be uploaded to this site the week of August 13, 2012. This will include work specifications, maps, drawings, and all documents needed in order to submit an offer.
