Description

The Fargo VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding a sole-source procurement to MDM CONSTRUCTION (an SDVOSB), of Fargo, ND, for the procurement of Laundry Facility Improvements deliverable to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 2101 Elm Street, Fargo ND 58102 as indicated within the contract documents. The estimated dollar value is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code # 236220, with a size standard of $33.5 million, applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5, Public Law 109-461, and 38 U.S.C. 8127 (c). No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Comments regarding this announcement must be received no later than 29 August 2012.
