Justification and Approval Continuation Sheet - Page 2 Continuation Sheet - Page 1 SOLE SOURCE NOTICE (AUDIO VAULT RADIO AUTOMATION SYSTEMS UPGRADE) This is a notice of intent to issue a contract to Broadcast Electronics, Inc., 4100 N 24th Street, Quincy, IL 62305-7749 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for the purpose of procuring the AudioVAULT Radio Automation Systems upgrades for current AudioVAULT systems currently installed in American Forces Networks throughout our overseas stations. See attached Continuation Sheet and Sole Source Justification. This announcement constitutes the only notice; written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to perform by responding to this notice by the specified closing date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
