- SPECIAL NOTICE: F12PS01073 The Fish & Wildlife Service (Southeast Region) in Atlanta, Georgia 30345 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a sole source contract order for Wetland Restoration Project (Botanical Site Woody Plant Removal) under an existing Memorandum of Understanding to the City of Sanibel, 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Florida 33957. Authority cited: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) only one responsible source reasonably available that will satisfy Agency requirements. The proposed action will result in a firm fixed price commercial purchase. The NAICS code is 924120. The work requirement is located at the J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, 1 Wildlife Drive, Sanibel, Florida 33957. Work is scheduled to begin on or about September 1, 2012. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. All quotes/offers received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in successive years. Facsimile submissions and oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Written responses shall provide evidence that the offeror can provide all of the requirements.
