Custom SATCOM Solutions Award Notice Solicitation Number: QTA010CTA0003 This is a written synopsis to all interested parties, in accordance with FAR 5.303(a), publically announcing that multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts resulting from Solicitation Number QTA010CTA0003 have been awarded. Custom SATCOM Solutions (CS2) contracts each have a three-year base period plus two one-year option periods. These ID/IQ vehicles provide End-to-End solutions consisting of any combination of fixed satellite services or mobile satellite services components, and/or service enabling components such as terminals, teleport, and terrestrial interface tail circuits. After review and evaluation in accordance with the criteria established in the solicitation, GSA has determined to make contract awards to eight offerors of the twenty-three offers received. The solicitation states that, The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts from this solicitation to the responsible Offerors whose proposals are the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered... For an offer to be eligible for award, the Offeror must agree to all terms and conditions of the solicitation and must not receive a rating of Unacceptable for the Technical/ Management or Corporate Experience factor... When combined, Technical/Management, Corporate Experience, and Past Performance are significantly more important than Factor 4 (Price). In accordance with these criteria, award selection was made to the following companies that were determined to provide the Government the best value under this acquisition: •· Americom Government Services, Inc. •· ARTEL, LLC •· DRS Technical Services, Inc. •· Hughes Network Systems, LLC •· Intelsat General Corporation •· Segovia, Inc. •· TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. •· Vizada, Inc.
