- Brand Name Justification Clauses and Provisions applicable to solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See restrictions below for brand name only, brand name justification is attached. The solicitation number is AG-3144-S-12-JT02 and shall be referenced on all quotes and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, Software Publishers, with a small business size standard of $25.0M. The Government has determined that there are no small businesses that can meet this requirement and is not setting aside this requirement for small business concerns. However, any small businesses that believe they can meet this requirement should contact the named CO via email at josh.tafoya@ftc.usda.gov to express their interest and ability to meet the requirement. Interested parties are required to submit quotes by the closing date and time identified within this posting. The Government plans to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract. Quotes will be evaluated and award issued to the vendor that provides the best value to the Government based on evaluation factor(s) of: price and delivery.
