- This announcement is being issued in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1) and (c). The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for stainless steel wire rope for lock emergency gate machinery for the Robert C Byrd Lock and Dam. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract, competitively bid. The contract will be awarded for a base option item with four additional, separately priced option line items. The contract will be awarded to a responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest balanced price. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 31, 2012, online at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). Register via the SAM Internet site at http://www.sam.gov or by contacting the SAM Customer Service Desk at 1-866-606-8220.
