Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Franchise Fund Simplified Acquisition Office (FFSAO), intends to negotiate a Veteran-owned, small business, set-aside award (VA 200-12-RQ-0144) for an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Battery Monitoring system, including installation, documentation, testing, and training for the Department of Veterans Affairs Austin Information Technology Center (AITC). The Battery Monitoring system shall monitor a variety of batteries, including lead acid, wet, valve regulated lead acid, and nickel cadmium batteries. The system shall consist of all of the hardware, software, cabling and other components required for the safe and reliable collection and display of battery data and fault conditions. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement or by submitting a proposal no later than September 10, 2012 at Noon, Central. Vendors may request the RFQ package by contacting FFSAOContracting@va.gov no later than Monday, August 27, 2012. A vendor site-visit will be hosted by VA-AITC on Thursday, August 30, 2012. All attendees must contact FFSAOContracting@va.gov no later than Tuesday, August 28, 2012, 3:00 p.m. Central time for inclusion on the approved vendors list. Any visitors not on the approved list will not be granted entrance to the facility. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov) and with Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Public/Register/Register.aspx) to be considered for award. Offers may be submitted via email to FFSAOContracting@va.gov and robin.matteson@va.gov. The anticipated award date is September 17, 2012.
