Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) Groton CT Office, 06349 intends to procure Navy Network Configuration and Technical Support Services, including daily operational functions such as developing strategies, analytical assistance and project plans and management for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery ME as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed contract action will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 12 and 15. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 541511. The size standard is $25.5 million dollars. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year with three (3) one-year option periods with options to extend services in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8. This contract will be issued with options to extend the term of the contract in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-9.The anticipated start date is October 1, 2012 The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFP IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. When the Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil. A request for proposal will be available for download on or about 7 Sep 2012. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAMS database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAMS database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ Do not use the Submit Bid button on NECO to submit your quote.
