- DLA Maritime Puget Sound intends to procure a Turn-Key Vertical Lift Storage System that is BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to the Hanel Lean Lift 2460/825/75/800/40 model for the Valve and Pump Repair Shop (Shop 31D), Naval Submarine Base - Bangor. This Turn-Key system is to include the preparation of the work site, the assembly, installation, and testing of the equipment, and the training of operator and maintenance personnel as specified herein. The scope of work also includes the removal of an existing storage system. It is the Government s intent that a single (primary) contractor be awarded this contract and be responsible for the accomplishment of all work detailed by this specification. The resulting award will be a firm fixed price contract for delivery to Naval Submarine Base - Bangor, Silverdale, WA. The RFP is estimated to be issued on or about September 8, 2012 and will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments to the RFP. An email request to jason.lewis@dla.mil will be accepted in the event an Offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the aforementioned website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the Offeror non-responsive and will result in rejection of same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting offers must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representation and certifications found in the solicitation, 3) provide manufacturer information of proposed items, and 4) ensure current registration in the DOD Central Contractor Registration database at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. IF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER DOES NOT OBTAIN FUNDING BY 15 OCTOBER 2012, THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CANCELLED. OFFERED PRICING MUST REMAIN VALID UNTIL AT LEAST 15 OCTOBER 2012.
