Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. The 633d Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB VA, is seeking information on interested sources to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The proposed award will be firm-fixed-price consisting of the following requirement: Implementation of port security. Port security provides a secure network and enables an identity-based service throughout the JTF-CS Local Area Networks. This requirement consists of a project kick off, requirements gathering, design planning, implementation/validation and project close out. Tasks requiring performance include: - Providing a consolidated policy-based access control system. - Combine authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), posture, and profiler into one appliance. - Provide Identity-Based Network Access. - Provide Basic User Authentication and Authorization. - Manage Wireless and VPN Traffic with Inline Posture Nodes. - Provide any additional hardware or appliances required for installation and implementation. - Provide initial overview and familiarization of application upon installation. -Deliverables will be required with this acquisition. This project consists of the following CISCO equipment: - CISCO CATALYST 3750X 48 PORT - CISCO ATALYST 3K-X 1G NETWORK - CISCO SMARTNET 8X5XNBD CATALYST 3750X - CISCO IDENTITY SERVICES ENGINE VIRTUAL MACHINE - CISCO STACKWISE - CISCO CATALYST 3750X STACK POWER CABLE 30 CM - CISCO AC POWER CORD - CISCO CAT 3750X IOS UNIVERSITY - CISCO CATALYST 3K-X 350W AC POWER SUPPLY - NIPR APPLICATION AND VIRTUAL MACHINE IDENTITY SERVICES ENGINE Response is solicited only from small business firms certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms submit one (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER of the firm (including CAGE code), (2) a summary of its product, (3) its SIZE STATUS. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., EST, on 29 August 2012 to be considered. It is anticipated that a combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued o/a 4 September 2012 and will be posted on FBO.gov.
