- Description
- Furnish and deliver aquatic herbicide, EPA approved and labeled for aquatic use in the states of Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Delivery location will be either the Lake Seminole Maintenance compound located 1.5 miles north of Chattahoochee, FL at 2245 Booster Club Road. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for service disabled veteran owned small business using the NAICS 325320 for which the size standard is 500 employees. It is contemplated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Award could possibly be made to multiple vendors. The herbicides containing the following active ingredients will be solicited: diquat; triclopyr; and glyphosate. The requirement will also consistent of non-ionic low foam surfactant. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation is due to be posted on or about August 24, 2012. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FBO before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
