- United States Government Seeks Expressions of Interest Independence, Missouri Requirement: The U.S. Government currently occupies warehouse and related space in a building under a lease in Independence, Missouri, that will be expiring. The Government requires approximately 28,000 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous space and 5 parking spaces. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and agency efficiencies. The space must be available for occupancy by November 1, 2012. Other applicable requirements include the following features: Location: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area: Within a 1 mile radius of 1550 E. GeoSpace Drive, Independence, Missouri Occupancy: Space must be ready for occupancy by November 1, 2012. Lease Term: The proposed rental term shall be 10 years, 5 years firm. This is an inquiry for expressions of interest only, not an invitation to bid. Expressions of interest should write with postmark or E-mail not later than September 4, 2012.
