- RFI 309TH SMXG/520TH SMXS Global Broadcast Satellite (GBS) Program REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide Global Broadcast Satellite (GBS) Program the following line items: 1. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal Request for Purchase (RFP) in fiscal year 2012 for the acquisition of Global Broadcast Satellite Program. This RFI is to determine capable and interested parties for supply of the Global Broadcast Satellite Program. Reverse engineering is not an option due to the time required to field Global Broadcast Satellite Program. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to provide Global Broadcast Satellite Program.
