- DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation for the manufacture and installation of the following commercial supply type item: Shelter, Quonset Style with design loads equal to or greater than 15 PSF Snow Load and 85 mph Wind Load with the following dimensions and specifications: Size: 48 Feet wide x 78 Feet long x 34.6 feet high (25foot high side walls) with a total square footage of 3,744. Heavy duty frame of at least 3 square galvanized steel tubing fabricated into 30 inch deep truss ribs located on 19.5 foot centers. Two (2) each End Walls enclosing the entire end of the shelter extending from ground to top of the shelter complete with galvanized steel frame. One (1) each Personnel (man) Door, out swinging, pre-hung 36 inches W x 80 inches high, complete with steel support frame and closure hardware. One (1) each rough in frame opening 20 FT high x 20 FT wide in end panel frame for a door. 20 ounce white translucent heavy duty vinyl fabric coated, reinforced with polyester chord scrim. Provided with self-cleaning PVDF resin coating to enhance fire, Ultra Violet and chemical aging resistance. Include standard plus or minus 15 year life expectancy with a 10 year prorated warranty. Includes installation on-site at Bangor, WA. This requirement is for 2 EA, CLIN 0001 and 0002. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price contract awarded competitively on an unrestricted basis. The applicable NAICS Code is 332311. Offers shall be FOB Destination to Bangor, WA. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-12-R-0044. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 27 August 2012. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 11 September 2012 at 3:00PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
