Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, BHS VA Medical Center, Boston, MA, is seeking a contractor to provide all labor and materials necessary to successfully install new Dishwasher, Electric Range and Hood with dry extinguishing chemical extinguishing system per NFPA at the Brockton VA Medical Center in building 2 in ward 2-1-C and to provide sheet metal duct from the hood to a penetration through the roof for venting. This is a Firm-Fixed-Price solicitation with an anticipated period of performance beginning September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013. The applicable NAICS code is 33319 and the size standard is $7 Million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include: price, technical capabilities including facility inspection, and past performance. The solicitation is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation package will be made available on or about 8/25/2012. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. If you are not registered with CCR, you may access at http://www.ccr.gov.
