Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK, intends to award a single-source purchase order to Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC), 125 James Way, Southampton, PA 18966, for the acquisition of an upgrade to the FAA's GYRO II Spatial Disorientation Demonstrator, located at the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute in Oklahoma City, OK. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on ETC being the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Brenda Elliott, at e-mail address brenda.elliott@faa.gov or mailing address, FAA, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Aviation, Medical & Training Division (AMQ-310), 6500 S. MacArthur Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73169. All questions shall be received by September 4, 2012, noon, Central Time. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
