- The previous pre-solicitation notice is changed to set the acquisition aside for service disabled veteran owned business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is changed to 424690. Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center will be soliciting bids for sodium chloride rock salt for water softening in Indianapolis, Indiana. Contractor shall furnish and deliver the ordered amount on an as needed basis. Anticipated award date is October 1, 2012 for a period of one year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the government's discretion. The solicitation will be issued around September 4, 2012. No telephone requests will be honored. The government is not responsible to make available paper copies. Questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions which may affect offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Offeror's are encouraged and are responsible for routinely checking the web site for any solicitation amendments that may be issued throughout the bid period. No individual notification of amendments will be provided. This is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424690. The size standard is 100 employees.
