- DESCRIPTION The VA Manila Regional Office and Outpatient Clinic located at 1501 Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Philippines is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses that can provide ocean freight transport from Manila, Philippines and delivery to the Federal Records Center located at 5351 Lee ™s Summit Road, 900 Summit 2 Loop, Dock 4, Lee ™s Summit, MO 64064 The NAICS code is 488510 and the size standard is $14.0 million The Period of Performance will begin on/about September 15, 2012 thru October 30, 2012. Short Summary of Requirement: Vendor shall provide ocean freight transport for Claims Folders from Manila, Philippines to the Federal Records Center located at 5351 Lee ™s Summit Road, 900 Summit 2 Loop, Dock 4, Lee ™s Summit, MO 64064. Ocean freight service shall include export documentation processing in Manila, Philippines, ocean shipping, cargo liability coverage, compliance with US Customs Clearance requirements and ground transportation to Lee ™s Summit, MO. The services to be provided will be in accordance with the requirements, terms, and conditions stated in the Statement of Work (SOW). The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) www.fbo.gov. All interested parties must have a Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Federal Identification Number (FID), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and be registered with the SAM (www.sam.gov ). There is no cost to register in this site. Vendors that can provide these services should email to the Contracting Officer, Cristina Mae Lansangan at cristina.lansangan@va.gov by due date of September 4, 2012, 4pm PST. The solicitation document, VA261-12-Q-1918, will be issued based on the priority status of small businesses responding (for instance SDVOSB, VOSB, and then Small Businesses).
