Description
The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions received regarding the subject solicitation. Question 1 - The column representing the "unit price" on the sample task order seems to be reflecting more of a lump sum rather than a per unit price. Would contracting consider adjusting the STO to include individual line items for each requested portable's unit cost? (Standard latrine, ADA compliant latrine, hand-washing stations)? Answer 1 - Historically, the Task Order requests are filled out using the formula: Quantity x Unit Price = Total Amount Whereas: Quantity = #of Days x #of Units A STO using these formulas should not need to have an adjustment to the spreadsheet. However, if a contractor is proposing different prices for the latrines and handwash stations, then there may be CLINs with sub-CLIN lines associated with your total price. The additional subCLINs (i.e. 0001a and 0001b) will have to be reflected on the STO by the contractor. Question 2 - I see that all gray water and sewage can be disposed of on site. Is clean water available on site as well or does it need to be supplied by contractor? Answer 2 - Yes, locations on post will be provided at contract award. Question 3 - Should all potential bidders resubmit proposals in its entirety or just the amended portions? Answer 3 - Yes, due to changes in the evaluation criteria and to ensure that all proposals clearly reflect the submitted requirements, a full proposal is to be submitted. Question 4 - Are we able to submit electronic via email or resubmit hard copies in triplicate? Answer 4 - No digital means will not be accepted. Offerors must comply with submission instructions as provided in PWS Paragraph 8.2 and Table 8.3.1. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
