- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to solicit and award a contract for NUIX software to only one source, NUIX North America, Inc. 1101 30th Street, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC, 20007, in accordance with FAR 6.302, whith authorizes other than full land open competition when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirlements. The IRS requires the NUIX software to support the Criminal Investigation (CI) response to litigation requests in multiple formats in compliance with Federal rules of Civil Procedures. NUIX operates by utilizing the Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, thereby operating within all CI Domain security and access policies and requirements, vs. a web based application which would require exceptions or modification of existing security parameters. NUIX operates within customer supplied hardware, it is a software based platform. It is very user friendly and intuitive. A user can start using the application efficiently within a very short introduction period. The licensing model chosen by CI includes on-the-fly OCR processing. NUIX licensing is based upon a number of processor cores, not volume. The customer can process unlimited amounts of data for EDiscovery with NUIX licensing. NUIX will export EDiscovery processing into various load file formats including Concordance, with all parent child relationships maintained. NUIX processes and indexes data at an extremely fast rate, which will allow CI to maintain the current and anticipated future workload demands for litigation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are not being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. Contractors interested in this requirlement should submit clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement.
