This market research is for INFORMATION GATHERING PURPOSES ONLY in order to begin identifying potential sources. Information for potential TRAINING CONFERENCE PLANNER AND ORGANIZER is being sought for the following requirement. Pending conference approval, the Government is contemplating a Small Business Set-aside for 8(a) contractors under NAICS 561920-- Convention and Trade Show Organizers. Interested, eligible parties are requested to send a short capability brief, to include size verification, and any other supporting documentation that addresses the salient points of the requirement which could include a brief Technical Approach and similar experience. The expected contract is intended to be at no-cost to the Government. Contractors would be allowed to charge a minimal registration fee for the attendees and exhibitors to cover the costs of materials and incidentals, including a reasonable profit. Background: 1) The U.S. Army Communications Security Logistics Activity (CSLA) is located on Fort Huachuca, AZ in the Sierra Vista area. CSLA has the mission of providing Communications Security (COMSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), and Information Assurance (IA) support for the Department of the Army and other assigned organizations in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS). 2) CSLA is hosting the 22nd annual Global Integrated Partnership for COMSEC (GIPC), formerly known as the Global INFOSEC Partnership Conference (GIPC), at its headquarters on Fort Huachuca, AZ during the first full week in May. GIPC consists of a training conference and government/industry exhibits relating to the COMSEC, INFOSEC, and IA areas. Last year the event drew just over 235 registered attendees, 70 non-registered presenters, and nine government and industry organizations in the exhibits. At least 13-15 exhibitors are typical when ample lead time is available. The majority of training and events are conducted in government owned facilities; alternate local facilities, if suitable, may be considered for initial registration events. Requirement: 1) The overall requirement is for performance of training, conference, and convention/trade show organization services and delivery of supplies, materials, or services that provide administrative, computer, and graphic coordination for the GIPC and exhibits. 2) More specific examples of requirements include: A) Administration of and involvement in the accomplishment of key event milestones and surrounding activities in concert with the government planning committee. B) Management, development, and maintenance of the GIPC administrative information website. Development, maintenance, and data management of the GIPC training workshops and online registration/payment portion of the website using information provided by the Government. C) Support the development, compilation, and distribution of attendee conference and administrative materials. D) Multi-media and graphics support with the development of event signage, conference CD, and reproduction/compilation of conference informational materials with information provided by the Government. E) Solicitation, online registration/payment, and logistical management of the exhibit area and exhibitors. F) Planning and negotiation of in-processing/welcoming events and additional social events such as a paid conference luncheon. ******All interested parties should provide the above requested information and any questions electronically VIA E-MAIL to cheryl.m.todd.civ@mail.mil and james.b.kuhl2.civ@mail.mil.
