Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire services to perform preventive maintenance and emergency services for approximately 300 government-owned Guldman and Arjo Patient Lifts. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, equipment, parts, supplies, tools, certifications, transportation, disposal and resources necessary to provide Patient Lift equipment preventive maintenance for SFVAMC. The NAICS code is 811219, size standard is $19.0 million. This acquisition is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. The contract will be a firmed fixed price. The period of performance is for a Base Year and One option year. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA261-12-R-1511. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 5, 2012 with an anticipated proposal due date of September 14, 2012. Offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the website listed above, without further notification from the VA Contracting Officer.
