- Solicitation for M67854-12-Q-4256 COMM VAULT Brand Name OR Equal Backup Software for Windows Server, Support, and Maintenance This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) M67854-12-Q-4256 constitutes the only solicitation being issued (Please note this is a replacement of M67854-12-Q-4156; the solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code and applicable size standard for this procurement is listed in Block 10 on the face page of the attached RFQ. All interested and responsible parties shall refer to www.neco.navy.mil in order to obtain a copy of the RFQ. This is an RFQ for the procurement of a Brand Name or Equal COMM VAULT equipment. Quotes are being solicited and a written RFQ is attached to this synopsis. The following provisions and clauses shall apply: (1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items) (2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) with the following insertion in paragraph (a) "lowest priced technically acceptable" (3) FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commerical Items) (4) FAR 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions -Commericial Items) (5) FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commerical Items) (6) 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration, (7)252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation (8) 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, (9) Electronic Submission of Payment. Please see the attached RFQ for additional detail, and other terms and conditions. This is a DPAS rated order with an assigned rating of DO-A7. All questions should be directed to Michelle Bergeaux at michelle.bergeaux@usmc.mil. All offerors proposals shall be submitted on the RFQ form (SF-1449) attached to this synopsis. Vendor's proposals for this requirement are due no later than 2:00 PM EST Sept 4, 2012. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the NECO system for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations is also required http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may deem offeror ineligible for award.
