- FLC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a request for proposals for the following: Item 0001: Golf Cart Battery Replacement Service in accordance with the SOW. NAICS: 811310, business size $7.0 mil is applicable. It is anticipated that this procurement will be issued unrestricted and a firm fixed price type contract will be awarded as a result of the RFP. FLC San Diego is seeking proposals for domestic/qualifying country material only. Contractors selected for award will be evaluated on their capability to provide domestic material that meets the Government's requirements and their ability to perform services in accordance with the solicitation and the statement of work including Technical capability, past performance and price. The Government intends to issue the contract for a base year period and four one year options. Inspection and acceptance of all material and services will be performed at Destination. Delivery location is the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, CA 92136. Standard commercial packaging and marking will be required. The RFP will contain a detailed statement of work describing the Government's requirements for delivery and services. The RFP will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil on or about 12 September 2012. The solicitation period is anticipated to close on COB 1500 PM, PST, 19 September 2012. Contact the Contracting Officer at email address Leilani.mutu@navy.mil with requests for information. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contract Registration applies to all solicitations issued on or after 6-1-98.
