Description

Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officer to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. The Drug Enforcement Administration has a requirement for twenty (20) each, part number: PRC6999-BBS-HTB, JEM Urban 2m immersible radio, US Type 1 COMSEC encryption, includes SINCGARS, HAVEQUICK AND ANDVT waveforms. Includes one each 30-90 MHz blade antenna, 90-152 MHz whip antenna, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, accessory bag, operator's manual and quick reference guide. Request 5 year warranty on transceiver, 1 year warranty on other items and delivery/handling charges to include insurance to Lorton, Virginia. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". A solicitation will not be issued. All quotes must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Monday, September 10, 2012 to email sheila.y.rivera@usdoj.gov, Contract Specialist or via fax 703.495.6680.
