Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Request For Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-12-Q-4628. See attached specification sheet. The required delivery of items is 21 days after award. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. The NAICS Code is 33419 and the FSC Code is 7035. Pricing will be FOB Destination. Items will be shipped to: Receiving Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6620 Tisdale Road, Building 125, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 31 August 2012, 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time. Award is expected on or before 30 September 2012. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to tina.lynn@navy.mil but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-6810. In order to be eligible for award, the offeror must be determined to be responsible in accordance with FAR 9.104-1 and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database. Billing shall be made through the electronic Wide Area Workflow System (WAWF): https://wawf.eb.mil/.
