- DESCRIPTION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for F2XTA22157A004. The required delivery date is: 30 Sep 12. The Statement of Requirements (SOR) is attached or will be housed on the Federal Business Opportunities website under F2XTA22157A004. Item Number 0001: Mekel Mach V Microfilm Scanner, in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR) Quantity 4 each; This will be a brand name or equal requirement. To be considered an "or equal", the product offered must meet the minimum salient characteristics identified in the SOR. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333315 and the small business size is 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued as full and open competition and made available on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov, on or about 4 September 2012. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. Paper copies will not be available. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You must register on the FedBizOpps website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. When the solicitation is downloaded, it is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY, as there are milestones that MUST be met by the prospective offeror in order for their porposal to be considered responsive. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. It is the responsibility of each offeror to ensure that NAICS 333315 is added to your Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. 2.
