- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subparts 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purchase Request number is F5A3CF2169AC01 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition circular Fac 2005-43 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20100820. SET ASIDE & NAICS: This acquisition will not be Set Aside in accordance with FAR Part. 19.502-1 -- This acquisition is being contemplated under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334220. BID SCHEDULE: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, tools, equipment, materials, technical knowledge and transportation necessary to fulfill the requirement. REQUIREMENT(S): BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Item: Motorola Part Number: H18QDF9PW6N Portable Astro Digital XTS 5000 380-w/ Software Astro Digital/Project 25 9600 baud, Over Air Provisioning, AES Encryption, XTS5000 UCM Hardware Encryption, MDC & ASTRO P25 OTAR W/MULTIK, RS232, IV&D Pack Interface, Smartzone sys Software, Battery Impress NIMH FM 1700MHA, 2yr encrypted repair svc. Must be compatible (with no adaptation required) with all the Motorola accessories including flightline aircraft headsets, police bone mics, external lapel mics, and external speaker jacks - all of which connect to the radio using a Motorola "universal connector". Further, the radios must accept and operate with the existing inventory of Motorola Impres 7.5 Volt batteries and associated single and multiple battery chargers. The radios must be compatible with our Astro Smartnet trunking system, accept the system key, and program using the Astro 25 CPS software and Motorola universal connecter USB cabling.
