Description
NOCA update THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The NOCA for this acquisition has been updated to reflect an ombudsman point of contact. (5 September 2012) This notice supersedes notice FA8307-12-R-0019 issued June 4, 2012. This is a notice of intent to issue a limited sources Request for Proposals (RFP) to The Boeing Company and Raytheon Company in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government has a requirement for the production of the Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminal (FAB-T) Command Post Terminal (CPT) and Advanced Wideband Terminal (AWT) with the Presidential & National Voice Conferencing (PNVC) and Tracking, Telemetry & Commanding (TT&C) capabilities. The first terminal delivery is required in Fiscal Year 2015. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation in September 2012. FAB-T provides the strategic nuclear and non-nuclear command and control with Extremely High Frequency (EHF), wideband, protected and survivable communications terminals for Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) communications. FAB-T is part of the terminal and control segments of the Advanced EHF (AEHF) satellite system. It is required to provide Telemetry, Tracking, and Commanding (TT&C) of the AEHF and Milstar satellites and to fully utilize the increased capacity of the AEHF constellation. The FAB-T program will develop and field airborne and ground based Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) terminal capability. FAB-T provides both wideband and survivable protected communications to the strategic and tactical Warfighter. Terminals are compatible with AEHF satellites and legacy Milstar EHF satellite systems.
