- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with limited sources under authority of FAR 6.302, Only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to purchase a one-time service contract for all parts, tools, labor, and transportation to repair 1 each Potentiometer Test Program Set P/N MT95145100-3 S/N 1 to support current government compatible equipment at Robins AFB. BAE Systems Manufacturing Technology, Inc. is the only source of this compatible software and therefore meeting this requirement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST A FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE (FSS). ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 334511 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 750 The purchase of ONE TIME SERVICE CONTRACT FOR ALL PARTS, TOOLS, LABOR, AND TRANSPORTATION TO REPAIR 1 EACH POTENTIOMETER TEST PROGRAM SET Noun: Service to Repair Potentiometer Test Program Set NSN : N/A P/N: MT95145100-3 Units Requested: 1 Time Service Solicitation #: F3QCCL2095A003 MFR: BAE Systems Manufacturing Technology, Inc. (BAE) Justification for Sole Source: A requirement exists for a one-time non-personal service contract for all parts, tools, labor, and transportation to repair one (1) each Potentiometer Test Program Set, to which BAE holds proprietary rights to the system and is the sole source of repair. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Quotations should be emailed to Bobbie Dobberstein (bobbie.dobberstein@robins.af.mil) no later than 12 Sep 2012, 4:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 17 Sep 2012. Please do not request award status prior to this date.
